Mclean Hospital:

From Research to Real Life 2007 Annual Report

Project Challenge:

Harvard Medical School-affiliate McLean Hospital is the nation's leading psychiatric hospital, known for its cutting-edge research, teaching, and patient care. Its annual report, which goes out to donors and stakeholders, must highlight key accomplishments and share compelling patient stories within an original theme. High-level hospital personnel, including the board of directors, the president/psychiatrist-in-chief, the chief financial officer, and several vice presidents, are all involved.

Solution:

For this report, Blue Sun helped plan the theme, interviewed donors and patients, wrote all copy, and helped manage the design and revision process. Over many years, our ability to collaborate within a high-profile, high-stakes setting and develop rapport with researchers, donors, board members, and patients has made Blue Sun an integral part of the McLean annual report team.
